Wonderful
Good: Staff was friendly as usual. Even with the reduced number of customers, food was of a nice variety. The hotel was clean and comfortable. This was not our first stay, we came to Danat Jebel Dhanna about 7-8 times before. Will come back again.
Bad: Due to the ongoing Gulf unrest and the bad weather forecast for the weekend, the hotel was almost empty. On the morning of our departure to the hotel, I seriously considered upgrading our standard room to a beachfront chalet through booking.com. Booking.com offered this with a surplus of 200 dirhams. I decided - a very bad decision from my side! - that I would not bother online, since I could also do it at the hotel upon arrival. Yes, I could have, but the staff at reception offered the same with a surplus of 800 dirhams !!! Even when, shocked, I quoted the booking.com price, he insisted on their own surcharge. I simply declined it and stayed in the room which I originally reserved. I consider this a BAD, VERY BAD policy - in light of the ongoing Gulf unrest, the hotel should do everything to keep their customers. What's more, TWICE in the past, I was given a FREE upgrade to a beachfront chalet in the same hotel, even when I did not ask for it - but that was in the past, with different staff at reception.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort with our children. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very welcoming and professional. The setting is idyllic, green, and very well maintained. There is a ping-pong table, a trampoline, a foosball table, as well as several relaxation areas.

Dear Danat Team. We have stayed at your hotel more than 5 times and always enjoy our stay. I would like to say thank you to the women chefs at the serving area. They are always very kind, friendly and helpful. I don’t know their names, but they are really great. Also, thank you to the lifeguards from Sri Lanka, especially Samir. He is very friendly, positive and a nice person.And thank you to the housekeeping team – Amar, Matesh and Mahendra – for keeping everything.

Great escape from the busy days
Good: Great and very helpful staff. They've been trying to resolve all your issues. Good food quality, especially at a-la cart dining. Rather big rooms in good condition. Cleaning is about to be a bit better. Huge territory and a lot of out-dooor activities.
Bad: Beach was rather clean, but the water was not. The hotel is placed rather far from anything, so you need to take a car or taxi to go out.

Very nice quiet place

Overall it was good experience. Food was excellent, swimming pool size is small. Enjoyed the resort life.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort. The facilities are excellent , from the beautiful beach and well-maintained pool to the comfortable room and relaxing atmosphere, everything was top quality. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the outstanding service. A special thank you to Sawastika, Kung, Jit, James, Julliet, Samir, Haroon, and Smriti for their warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Each one of them went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their friendliness and dedication really set this place apart. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!

Bad: Hotel is charging AED 20 for a bucket of ice. F&B manger made the decision of charging this amount. Unfortunately I couldn’t not get hold of him

Good: Very nicely planned property design. The room was quite spacious. Lot of activity areas.
Bad: The swimming pool lifeguards were a bit rude in behaviour. They should be more polite to the guests. Spoiled our mood for no reason.

Good: Although chalet is outdated it was spacious and clean with direct access to the beach. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Parking available outside of chalet.

The tranquil environment and warm hospitality make it an exceptional place to unwind in the Al Ruwais area. A shoutout to Ganesh bhai for being very thoughtful and making my stay special.
