Good: The bed was very comfortable and the quality of food was great. We enjoyed the pool
Bad: The changing facilities were quite cramped. The room was quite close to the nightclub which was loud at night. The view from the window included many air-conditioning machines and these were loud.

Good: Good sized room.
Bad: Check in was delayed. Had to pay for an extra bed in what was claimed to be a family room (1 bed only). Breakfast was terrible. Cold. Clearly left overs from Suhoor.

Not Up to the 5-Star Experience We Expected
We recently stayed at Danat Al Ain Resort and overall, it was a mixed experience. We had earlier stayed at Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, which was a truly great experience and easily a 5-star stay. Based on that, we chose this property with high expectations, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite match up. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, especially for a small family. We had a balcony with a pool view, which was really pleasant and added to the stay. The resort also has two pools, both of which are well-maintained and enjoyable. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The behavior and attentiveness of the F&B staff did not meet expectations and felt below standard at times. Also, we had booked both dinner and breakfast, and as an Indian family, the dinner was quite disappointing. The buffet was heavily focused on Arabic cuisine, with very limited options for other tastes. Another concern was the noticeable food wastage. Many tables had a lot of leftover food, which was quite disheartening to see. While guests are paying for the buffet, it doesn’t necessarily mean taking more than needed. The hotel could consider putting up awareness messages or simple signboards, or even implementing small strategies to encourage responsible consumption and reduce food waste. Lastly, service felt inconsistent, it seemed like some nationalities were given more attention while others were overlooked, which shouldn’t be the case in a hospitality setting. Overall, the property has good facilities and potential, but compared to our previous experience, it fell short. Improvements in food variety, service approach, and overall guest handling would make a big difference. Stayed in: Deluxe Oasis Room Stay length: 1 night(s)

While the reception area has clearly been brought into the present day, the rest of the hotel seems to have taken a more nostalgic approach—arguably dating back to the 1980s, if one is being generous. The rooms are certainly spacious, which is a plus, but the aging décor—particularly the carpeting—dampens what could otherwise be a more enjoyable stay. It may suffice for a short visit, but there are likely better-maintained and more thoughtfully refurbished alternatives nearby. Which is a shame, as the property itself has undeniable potential that isn’t quite being realized.

Quiet, scenic yet very central location in Alain
Good: The location is the highlight. Calm and serene surroundings. Yet very close to anything in Al Ain. Just what you want from a stay there. Breakfast is decent, the staff is friendly and plenty of parking available too. They have large pool and a decent area to walkabout within the property.
Bad: Unfortunately we had some inconsiderate neighbours who watched loud Bollywood movies late into the night and kids were playing loud. Can’t blame the property for this but I wish they had a slightly better sound proof rooms. Walls are paper thin, everything designed to make loud noises even if you try to close the door quietly it would close with a bang.

I just wanted to say that the gym needs to be upgraded a lot more than I thought the floor is in gym floor. It’s hard rock wooden and there’s multiple machines that aren’t there that are very important in the gym. I would just like the gym to be upgraded since I’m a person who goes to Danat a lot
