Had a lovely weekend at DANAT with my son. Jean and Ziafat were most accommodating and even surprised my son with a cake for his birthday. The breakfast buffet was good however the service and manager there could be a little more friendlier and helping. Overall I will be back

Overall good experience but some operational issues

Wonderful experience The front office upgraded our room to th e villa with private parking and even jacuzzi Rooms with kitchen sitting room and kitchen with washing machine. Microwave fridge and oven Bathroom with detachable shower Break fast was crowded as EID Swimming pool children will enjoy Mr mubarach was helpful

Good stay, spacious rooms, pretty property
It was a good stay at Danat. Lovely staff, clean place, good views. Rooms are spacious & the property is gorgeous. The location is a bit out of town but taxis arrive on booking so not much of an issue. We chose the Eid holidays so most of the issues we faced were due to the crowds. Although be mindful that half the restaurants like Shooters & Tanjore aren’t operational anymore. This info wasn’t conveyed beforehand. And this is an extremely family oriented resort so it’s not a laidback place for couples if that is what you’re looking for. The crowds got unmanageable during breakfast and had to wait for a table every morning, with the breakfast also running out of stuff very frequently if you came any later than 9:30am. I assume the experience is better on non-holiday stays. Stayed in: Standard Hafeet Room Stay length: 4 night(s)

Lovely stay
Good: Very good room with amazing balcony. Staff was very helpful. Great hotel facilities like pools, gym, tennis court, and table tennis. Breakfast was good and service at the restaurant was good.
Bad: Bring your own pool towel when going to this hotel since they always "don't have any available towels at the time being". If you have leakage in towels add extra 50-100 towel it's not gonna cost that much I believe. Breakfast taste was good but with limited items and tables, however the staff there were doing their best to handle the crowdness even the manager was working in-hands, maybe covering the area of outside tables will help. Please reduce the fired items a little bit in the breakfast, not everyone like this in the morning.

The hotel in general is ok at best, the rooms are quite good and comfy but on the flip side the food and staff left a lot to be desired. The room was good , clean , nice and comfy. I definitely recommend it to someone who is only looking to rest and relax in the room and maybe explore the city otherwise. Nice view from the balcony too. The food (dinner or breakfast) was always the same with little to no variation during our 4 day stay. So definitely not worth the extra we paid for the half board option. The facilities like the pool were nice but no temp control in any of the pools (they advertise temp control I think, but didn't find any temperature control) and some of the staff were ok (not good or bad either way) but some were quite rude and blunt to any assistance asked for. If you make a special request please for your own sake send them a reminder by email or call because even if you arrive and tell them they forget it. But in my experience the third reminder for a baby cot was the one that did it ( email + email + face to face at the check in time + call to reception the next day after check in = cot received)

We had a truly lovely experience celebrating our daughter's second birthday, and the complimentary cake made it even more special. Ms. Katrina was exceptionally accommodating and warm, which really touched our hearts. That’s why we decided to return during EID with my in-laws to share the joy.

Breakfast is limited not real intercontinental. Many fascilities are not working like kids club and jaccuzi Bathrooms need renovation big time. People with normal clothes are in swimming pool. Cleanliness is poor
